Kelvrion's Battery Test Chamber

Kelviron manufactures Environmental Chambers for Battery Testing which are designed to meet various types of battery testing requirements of its customers by keeping all safety options in mind against any harmful explosions or ignitions. It also gives utmost importance for user safety while testing these batteries for environmental stress conditions.

Kelviron’s Battery test chamber comes with the below features it is one step to achieve the desired results which the customer demands: –

  • Fire Suppression System – Fire suppression system is an engineered group of units that are built to extinguish fires through the application of a substance. This system has built-in components that detect fires at the beginning stages through heat, smoke, and other warning signals. Kelviron uses environmentally friendly chemical reagents to extinguish fires in sensitive spaces. The clean-up is minimal, water-free, and safe for the environment. At Kelviron we use Carbon Dioxide fire suppression systems which is acolourless, odourless gas CO2 to extinguish fires. This system is very efficient and reduces cost and downtime through easy clean-up.

  • Fire Detection System – Flame detecting sensors are designed to respond to the presence of a flame or fire, or the by-product of a fire. Kelviron uses the best Fire Detection System in its battery test chambers.

  • Fire Extinguisher System – Fire extinguisher is a portable or movable apparatus used to put out a small fire by directing onto it a substance that cools the burning material, deprives the flame of oxygen, or interferes with the chemical reactions occurring in the flame.

  • Smoke Detection System – Smoke enters the chamber, reflecting light onto the light sensor; triggering the alarm. They’re going to sense the presence of extreme heat, smoke, and fire faster than a heat detector.

  • Automatic Air Exchange System – The combined air exchange and air conditioning unit is used for conditioning air from a conditioned space. The unit comprises an exhaust air chamber, a return air chamber, a supply air chamber, and a fresh air chamber. A supply blower is used for drawing air from inside the supply air chamber to the outside and an exhaust blower is used for drawing air from inside the exhaust air chamber. A central plate damper is provided for regulating air transfers between the chambers

  • Pressure Release Valve – This component is used in the chamber to prevent pressure from overpressurization. It also helps by relieving excess pressure when necessary. These can be used to release gas, steam, liquids, or vapours.

  • Locking System– Kelviron uses a mechanical locking system which is secure inopening a closed door until a release mechanism is activated; usually a lever, knob is used.

  • HMI Controller– Kelviron uses is own HMI Controller, for HMI 7” Red Lion high resolution TFT provided with program logic controller (Siemens). Number of programs & profile segments with ramp & soak duration provided for cyclic operation. The temperature measuring and control systems provided with PID modules. Set value & process value with graphical display on main screen.
